Get 'em into the water

Because kids just love the water, we run a Kids Scuba and Snorkelling club “The Scuba Turtles” at various pools around Nottingham.

The idea behind The Scuba Turtles is to provide kids with a fun and friendly environment where youngsters can master scuba and snorkelling skills along with their friends, as well as work through courses and achieve certifications. Kids can learn snorkelling skills with us from the age of 5, when they turn 8 they can completed the Buibblemaker session then progress onto the PADI Seal Team Program followed by the Master Seal Team and when there 10 they can move onto Junior Scuba Diver and/or Junior Open Water Diver qualification. After this they have the option of working through more courses with us including learning Rescue skills.

• Snorkelling lessons age 5+ accompanied by a reward chart and stickers 

• PADI Bubblemaker Scuba Session age 8+ recommended for the first session 

• PADI Seal Team program age 8+ consists of a min of 3 pool sessions covering 5 
   aquamissions, materials needed for this course, kids receive a certification at the end
   of the course 

• Aquamissions and PADI Master Seal Team for kids who have completed the Seal Team
   Program mentioned above. There are 10 more missions to complete to gain the PADI master Seal Team qualification    Missions include Naviagtion, Wreck, Innner space, Night, Snap shot and many more.

• PADI Junior Open Water Diver age 10+** once this lifetime qualification has been
   completed kids are qualified to scuba dive anywhere in the world.

• PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Kids ask us for more details on this course
• PADI Junior Rescue Diver ask us for more details on this course.


** kids need to be 12 to dive in open water in the uk but can dive overseas at the age of 10.

The Scuba Turtles meet at each pool at least once a month, kids can attend at just one pool or multiple locations.
