MARSA SHAGRA June 27th – 4th Jul 2012

Marsa Shagra has been introducing divers to the delights of diving in the Southern Red Sea for nearly 20 years. Everything about Marsa Shagra has been designed to have as little impact on the environment as possible and the camp is perched right on the sea front. Stroll out of your tent into the watery wonderland that awaits. With unlimited dive packages and decades of experience, Marsa Shagra offers a refreshing change for divers who really do want a diving holiday in Egypt that leaves only bubbles.
Marsa Shagra camp has grown over the years but retains the Bedouin feel that is at its heart. The village is kept intentionally small to minimise impact - the maximum number of guests is determined by the house reef! Today you can chose between two types of tented accommodation, huts and even chalets (perfect if you want those creature comforts). Meal times are kept flexible so you will always have plenty of time to dive without missing. Non divers are always welcome - why not try your hand at kite surfing, explore the desert (bird watching especially recommend) or just relax with a massage.
Yet it is the diving that brings most people to Marsa Shagra. The unlimited shore package means you can log some serious bottom time on the local dive sites. But there is also a huge programme of boat diving and night diving too. Jump in the jeep and head out further afield. Special trips to sites such as Elphinstone and Shaab Marsa Alam are well worth checking out. A full range of PADI courses can be taught on site. So no matter what level you are - leave the world behind you in Marsa Shagra

Marsa Nakari July 4th – 11th 2012
At Marsa Nakari, Hossam has endeavoured to promote sustainable tourism along with eco diving and his educational diving programmes are a continuation of his desire to ensure the long term future of this area.
This unique tour gives divers exclusive access to many outstanding reefs including Elphinstone and Samadi Reefs from this still relatively remote location. Marsa Nakari benefits from an extensive and diverse house reef with hard and soft corals of offshore quality. Our guests say these villages are the best value and all-round diving experience you will find in the Red Sea.
Marsa Nakari is the smaller and more remote alternative to Marsa Shagra and is suitable for all levels of qualification from non divers to instructors – there really is something for everyone.
