The Lincolnshire Poacher is on Mansfield road on the left hand side as you drive up the hill away from the Victoria centre. Children are welcome upstairs but not in the Bar downstairs.

Come and join us for a friendly presentation on ‘Diving with a compact camera & shoot like a pro’ courtesy of Paul “Compact Digi Expert” Duxfield of Cameras Underwater Ltd.

Dear All This year I aim to make a difference to the millions less fortunate than me. Whilst we live a comfortable life in the western world tens of thousands starve to death or go without basic health care or nutrition every year. This year I have pledged £5000 to Enduro Africa, more if I can raise it. See www.enduroafrica.com

Taba Heights, Northern Egypt.

The Taba region is a developing tourist area, and a virtually unspoilt red sea diving destination. With pristine coral reefs close to the shore, clear waters and a variety of life under the water.

Taba Heights offer’s ideal conditions for learners and more experienced divers, with access to several stunning dive sites. The coastal waters around Taba have been granted Marine Park status. There are plenty of opportunities here for the casual diver, photographers and those with an interest in taking a more detailed look at the reef on sheltered and shallow dives.

It is not a place where you will find spectacular walls or enormous reefs, but due to the relatively untouched areas the coral is in first class condition.

Departing from either Sharm or Hurghada. The itinerary take in a selection of sites in this region including Ras Mohamed and the Straits of Tiran. This area is also world famous for its wrecks. A highlight is the Thistlegorm, whilst the ship's graveyard at Abu Nuhas has claimed ships such as the Carnatic and Giannis D. Wreck enthusiasts may also get the opportunity to visit the mysterious wreck of the Rosalie Moller and the Dunraven.

The diving in this area is exceptionally beautiful, with plenty of wrecks and reefs for us to visit. These are home to a wide variety of fish & fauna including crustaceans, anemones, sea urchins and at this time of year, juvenile cuttlefish, Pollack, bass and wrasse. Occasionally red gurnard and John Dory are spotted here, and there is a chance of seeing the Basking Sharks, Dolphins & Seals.

The time is fast approaching to return to the natural beauty that is Marsa Shagra Eco-Village, Egypt. For those who have never experienced this amazing place, don’t miss out. The house reef at Marsa has been a conservation area for over 10 years now, and the soft and hard corals as shallow as 8 metres really are in fantastic condition making the area ideal for snorkelling as well as diving.

See tour details, FAQs, photos and much more on our Marsa face book site. click here
